51st UAE National Day 2022 Official Celebration

UAE people will celebrate the official UAE National Day celebration 2022 on Friday, 2nd December 2022. The official 51st UAE National Day 2022 celebrations (الاحتفال الرسمي باليوم الوطني 51 لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة 2022 ) announced by the authorities. Actually, this is the 51st UAE National Day 2022 birthday.

The Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee on Wednesday announced its program of activities for celebrating the UAE’s 51st National Day.

Events will take place across Sharjah’s cities and key tourist and cultural destinations from November 24 to December 3, shedding light on the country’s achievements, history, and heritage for a whole month.

National celebrations
Sharjah will host events in various locations from November 24 to December 3. The celebrations will be held on Flag Island, Al Majaz Amphitheatre, Sharjah National Park, Maliha Public Park, Al Hisn Island and Al Kharous in Dibba Al Hisn, Khorfakkan Amphitheater, Wadi Al Helo and various areas of Kalba, parks and residential areas in Al Bataeh, various areas of Al Madam, Al Dhaid Fort, and the Heritage Village in Al Hamriyah.

Opening ceremony at Sharjah National Park
The celebration includes a musical performance entitled ‘Sultan of Giving’ about the achievements of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, reflecting the urban, cultural, and environmental development achieved under his rule.

There will also be a performance called ‘New Era’, in addition to other daily activities from 4.30pm-10pm on November 29 – December 3. Other attractions include a snow village, snow sculpting of national landmarks, and a model of Sharjah landmarks, among others.

Musical evenings – Al Majaz Amphitheater and Khorfakkan Amphitheater

Al Majaz Amphitheater will host musical performances featuring Balqees and Latifa on November 26, while Khorfakkan Amphitheater will host Eida Al Menhali and Diana Haddad on December 3. The proceeds of these musical evenings will go to “The Big Heart Foundation” to support children, vulnerable people and families in need around the world.

Al Dhaid City

Al Dhaid City celebrations are held at Al Dhaid Fort from Thursday to Saturday, i.e, 1-3 December. The morning activities run from 8am to 11am on the first day, while evening activities extend over the three days from 4pm to 10pm. Celebrations in Al Dhaid include the national march, camel racing, traditional performances, and other cultural events.

Al Bataeh

Al Bataeh will host celebrations from November 28-30 in parks and residential areas, including a popular march by government departments and agencies, residents of Al Bataeh, schools, the Sharjah Scouts Commission, and the military band with the participation of folk groups, horse shows, classic cars, and tourist buses.

Mleiha

On November 24, Mleiha Public Park will be adorned with a national march led by military music, a military band, competitions and various games, prizes, and raffles. Several segments will be performed with the participation of educational institutions.

Kalba and Wadi Al Helo

Kalba will celebrate on November 27 from 8am to 8pm. Celebrations in Wadi Al Helo will take place on November 30, including a national march, musical performances at Kalba, an operetta, and Al Fursan air show, and sports events and competitions sponsored by Sharjah Marine Sports Club. Kalba Corniche will also host a variety of shows and activities on November 28.

Wadi Al Helo celebrations will take place at the Heritage Village from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in the presence of the Wali of Wadi Al Helou. The ceremony will include school performances in coordination with the Department of Culture and Information, and a segment entitled ‘Between the Past and the Present’ in coordination with the Theater Department, in addition to performances by folk groups (Yowlah), folk dances in coordination with schools, and the distribution of gifts and prizes.

KhorFakkan – musical evenings and other events

In KhorFakkan Amphitheater, where architectural splendor meets history, a musical evening will be held on December 3 featuring Eida Al Menhali and Diana Haddad. The celebrations in KhorFakkan will also include a national operetta, and poetic and artistic performances. Bands from Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will participate in UAE celebrations, demonstrating the strong ties between the people of Gulf states. Along with traditional shows and a classical cars show in Souq Sharq on December 2.

Dibba Al-Hisn

Dibba Al-Hisn will hold national day celebrations on November 25, including a popular march at 4pm from the entrance to the city of Dibba Al-Hisn to Al-Hisn island canal. The celebration will include folk songs, operettas, national songs and dances, and competitions until 9pm. On November 26, Al Kharous Public Park will host a popular march that includes folk songs, dances, an operetta, and local families products, in addition to competitions on November 26.

Al Madam

On November 29-30, Sharjah’s celebrations will move to Al Madam, where people will enjoy performances from police and military bands, an art exhibition, the signing of the allegiance charter, and a narrator segment. The evening segments will include a poetry evening, children’s activities, and popular dishes from productive families, in addition to a Yowlah competition and several workshops.

Al Hamriyah

On December 1, the banks of the Hamriyah Creek and the Heritage Village in Hamriyah will host special celebrations, including national songs by students of Al Qalaa School for Basic and Secondary Education, traditional songs by folk groups, and the ’51st National Day Celebration’ video presentation.

This will be followed by the Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Club national competition, a competition for children, a heritage exhibition, local families products in cooperation with the people of the Hamriyah region, the Bedouin environment exhibition, and the classic car exhibition in cooperation with the Sharjah Classic Car Club.

With a beautiful view of the mangroves mixed with the modern Italian décor, Carluccio’s offers an exceptional dining experience. We recommend going there for a meal around sunset so you can take full advantage of the ambience and the view.

And while the very traditional Italian menu they offer can usually mean awesome pizza, we also suggest trying out the salmon pesto, Spanish ravioli, and lamb cutlets.

#4 – BOA Steakhouse

Another great restaurant located in the eastern mangroves area is BOA Steakhouse.

We have to be honest; dining at BOA Steakhouse can take a considerable chunk out of your budget. But believe us when we say each bite is worth every dirham you pay for it.

The restaurant has dashing in-store décor and has both indoor and alfresco seating. As for service – they offer one of the best customer experiences in Abu Dhabi. The staff knows the menu items in detail and has on-point recommendations.

The highlight, though, are the steaks – of course.

We recommend the New York Strip and the Black Angus Ribeye with scallops and mashed potatoes, but you can pick pretty much anything off the menu and it would turn out delicious. If you’re not sure, have faith on what the servers suggest – they won’t steer you wrong.

#3 – Jazz@PizzaExpress

Looking for a place that’s a perfect mash-up of jazz and Italian food? Look no further than Jazz@PizzaExpress. The dishes are unforgettable, they have a great drinks selection, and they feature live jazz music in the evenings.

Located at both the Nation Towers and on Al Reem Island, Smoking Doll is our top choice when it comes to Asian fusion restaurants. They have great choices in their menu, the service is excellent, and the place offers a relaxing and quiet atmosphere perfect for a date.

We recommend the doll rolls, por pih sod Vietnamese fresh rolls, spider rolls (pretty much any ‘roll’ in their menu, actually), and the Tom Kha soup.

BU! is pretty new in the dining scene in Abu Dhabi, but it’s slowly making a name for itself. The main pull is their three main avenues for dining: the terrace, bar, and the restaurant – making sure that each of their customers get to experience a full night of great view, relaxed atmosphere, and amazing food.

IAM Joins Dubai Conference for Entrepreneurs and Banks Headed by H.E. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair

INNOVATE Advertising & Marketing (IAM) took part in an entrepreneurs conference held in Dubai last March 12, 2017. The event was launched by the Emirati Entrepreneurs Association (EEA) in collaboration with UAE Banks Federation (UBF) and spearheaded by UBF Chairman H.E. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair.

The conference, entitled Entrepreneurs and Banks, focused on the challenges that currently face the entrepreneurial industry and the banking sector. The meeting was attended by more than 100 Emirati entrepreneurs and top officials from prominent banks in the country.

The discussion delved into the many issues that prevent small and medium enterprises (SME) from successfully starting and growing their businesses.

H.E. Al Ghurair shared practical and constructive advice to the attendees in solving the issues. He recognized the vital role SMEs play in the country’s economy and talked about the programs that can help them in realizing their vision. He also mentioned how important it is for the banking sector to facilitate initiatives that would help companies obtain monetary support when it’s needed.

Sanad Al Meqbali, EEA Chairman, was also in attendance. He reinforced the importance of identifying effective financial programs in backing up SMEs and start up entrepreneurs.

He also talked about how EEA understands the challenges entrepreneurs face and aims to offer a dedicated platform that will facilitate mutually beneficial collaboration between Emirati business owners.

IAM was represented in this conference by its Chairman, Ali Khoori, who acknowledged the valid points H.E. Al Ghurair and Mr. Al Meqbali made and has already started working with the EEA in developing a dedicated platform for entrepreneurs. This platform, called Aamal, is a joint initiative by the EEA and IAM and is created to provide local UAE entrepreneurs a place where they can network, grow, and succeed.

Innovators’ Take in the Upcoming Celebration of 44th UAE National Day

November 26, Thursday, everyone seems joyous even in their busy schedule early morning at the office. We asked some of our employees in their say on the 44th UAE National Day celebration, and what we have found out is something unexpected.

We decided to set-up an ambush interview among our random employees without them knowing that they are being interviewed and everything they say is being recorded. This way, we were able to know their real take in celebrating UAE National Day.

We also decided not to ask our local employees, because we’re confident that they’re all patriotic and nationalistic.

You get to participate in celebrating the founding of UAE, spend quality time with my son, and the pretty me will surely get to see to awesome fireworks display, ain’t I a genius?” she added.

“I think that participating in an event like UAE National Day is a must for all expatriates. “I feel so happy about this holiday because I can have four days off from work. I hope we can celebrate National Day every month.”

“I can’t celebrate UAE National Day because I have to go back to Philippines for my one month vacation. But I think this year’s celebration would be so much fun since I had fun attending the previous event last year,” added by our Social Media Manager, Hyzent.

For us, it’s kind of surprising to hear these things from our employees. We thought that since they are not from the country, most of them will just ignore the topic or say something irrelevant. Well it seems this is not the case.
